UniStart Hubs invite you to the Hackathon: A Challenge of Creativity and Innovation.

The Hackathon organized by the UniStart Hubs (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Structures) is a unique opportunity for researchers, scientists, and young professionals to showcase their creativity and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. The goal of the Hackathon is to encourage participants to tackle modern challenges and develop original ideas to address problems in the fields of Sustainability, Agri-Food, Environment, and Digital Financial Technologies (FinTech).

Participation in the Hackathon fosters creativity and enhances the entrepreneurial skills of participants, helping them develop new competencies and gain experience in tackling real-world problems. At the same time, the Hackathon provides a valuable networking platform where participants connect with professionals and researchers in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship. By supporting the local ecosystem, the event aims to promote the spirit of "entrepreneurship" with a focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Dates and Times:
Day 1: Tuesday, November 12, 2024 | 11:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Day 2: Wednesday, November 13, 2024 | 11:30 AM – 6:00 PM
The event will take place in Room D01 at the University of the Peloponnese, in the new building in Antikalamos.

Hackathon Process:
Day 1: Participants will be introduced to the key themes and challenges, and with the support of mentors and experts, they will begin developing business proposals and solutions.

Day 2: The teams will finalize their proposals and present them to the Evaluation Committee. Through this process, the winning ideas will be identified, with the potential to be further developed in the upcoming Innovation Competition.
