7th Business Game of UniStart Hubs in Kalamata
On Thursday, June 5, 2025, the "Business Game" was successfully held in Lab 153 of the School of Business Administration, Department of Business Administration and Organizations at the University of the Peloponnese in Antikalamos. The event, organized by the UniStart Hubs structures, attracted a number of students from the School of Business Administration, specifically from the Department of Business Administration and Organizations.
The event began with a brief introduction for the students about the Entrepreneurship and Innovation structures of UniStart Hubs and all the upcoming initiatives and competitions organized by the structures, presented by Ms. Vasiliki Kremastioti, Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration and Organizations and a member of UniStart Hubs. Through this introductory presentation, emphasis was placed on the significance of the program for students, as it enables the proper development of skills and promotes entrepreneurship and innovation.
Following the introduction, the keynote speaker Mr. Petros Dimas, Lecturer at the University of the Aegean, provided the students with a comprehensive briefing and outlined the structure and objectives of the session to follow. At the same time, Ms. Kremastioti and Mr. Dimas organized the student teams and explained in detail how the simulation game would be conducted—something that sparked significant interest among the participants, as it offered them a first-hand experience of a realistic investment environment.
As the session progressed, the teams began to implement their investment plans and submitted them for evaluation by Mr. Dimas. In the final stage, the results were announced and the winners of the competition were revealed.
It is important to emphasize that throughout the entire simulation game, a spirit of collaboration was fostered among the students. The way the process was conducted created a pleasant atmosphere that was both educational and enjoyable at the same time.
