3rd Public Awareness Event of UniStart Hubs in Meligalas

The UniStart Hubs invite you to the event titled "Smart Agriculture in Messinia: Innovation and Productivity,"to be held on Wednesday, October 30, at 19:00 at the "Maria Callas" Cultural Center in Meligalas.

The event will showcase innovative practices in smart agriculture and the potential of cutting-edge technologies to boost agricultural production in Messinia, focusing on small and medium-sized producers and local businesses active in the primary sector. The discussion will highlight important topics, such as new sustainability strategies and the role of technology in creating a more efficient and sustainable agricultural sector.

The UniStart Hubs are structures that support innovation and knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship, established by the Region of Peloponnese. Their mission includes leveraging research results from the university, supporting researchers in innovation outreach, and strengthening cooperation between the academic community and the local market.

Panelists for this event include Efi Dedousi,Agronomist in Meligalas , Panagiotis Katses from Future Intelligencea specialist in smart agriculture solutions, Yiannis Pazios from the Messinia Union of Agricultural Cooperatives. They will share their knowledge and experience, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities for local producers and the potential for collaboration with the academic community to support sustainable development and local entrepreneurship.

We look forward to an open and creative discussion on the future of agriculture in Messinia and the promotion of local innovations in the agricultural sector.
